Under the hood issues

An update: I am sick of the same issues below continuing to recur, the inability of Pressreader to fix them and, in the latest go round, of having another entity - Press+ - being pointed to so the two companies can blame each other. If Pressreader worked, it would be great. Now, it just asks me to pay for something I should have paid for. Horrible customer service on birth counts.

Been using Press Reader through a number of versions, a great way to read newspapers without dealing with recycling and piling up old issues. I find I read more than I used to. Under the hood have discovered 2 issues. Even though I keep at most a weeks worth before deleting, Press Reader has been chewing up memory to the point where iOS8 s,as it is using up 6 GB! Thats just impossible. Which led me to discover the second issue - reporting a problem through the app doesnt work any more - it zips a log file and then reports it needs email set up to send. Email on my iPad is set up, and I find nothing in the app for setting email other than the account used to register my newspapers. Really irritating got both counts!
