Could be so much better

Id been waiting for this app since before the iPad could run it because of its Flash aversion. As great a concept as it is, it has flaws, which could easily be remedied. Frequently, whole sections of the NY Times are left out. Stories "jump" to the wrong page. I suspect that these are human errors; more often than not they occur on weekends. Support techs have insisted to me that those must be software errors, but I am not convinced. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is much user-unfriendliness in the accounts department, I have been knocked off my NYT account more than once. Still, its the best way to digitally digest a key news source with all its built-in clues to story significance in terms of placement.
